Day3 reflection by Yi Xuan and Wen Wei: First day at school

Day3

Today is my first day in Hong Yuan Middle School. I feel that the environment  in Hong Yuan Middle School is good and the students respect their country very much as they were orderly when they stood at attention at the national anthem. I feel that the students here have good values and upbringing as they greet any teachers they see and treat others with respect. The teachers here are also strict and I feel that they have high expectations in their students. The education system here is strict too. I feel that the students have a good learning attitude.

今天，我又在虹苑中学过了一天。虽然今天没有很多机会能跟我班的同学好好聊天，但是我却得到了一个机会能跟虹苑中学的学生一起做早操。这种体操对我来说其实是蛮陌生的。会陌生的原因是在新加坡，我们几乎没有机会能尝试这种全校一起的运动。所谓‘’入乡随俗‘’，大家都在试着适应这里的环境，比如说：温度、交通、学生生活等等。

     虹苑中学的老师和同学都对我们很好，他们会安排我校的学生早一点去食堂吃午饭。有了这样的安排，我们就不需要跟其他学生在排队的时候一起挤。虹苑中学的热心安排真的让我很兴奋，让我感到印象深刻。
